I simply unscrewed the nut from the cable coming from the battery. For the power cable, I tapped into the junction box situated in front of the cabin filter housing. I can take a few pics of certain areas that do not require disassembly. If anyone is interested, I will post my proceedure. It was definitely worth the time and money.Īnd if anyone is leasing and doesn't want to drill holes in the body to run cables, there is an easy - but time consuming - way around it. I installed a 10' 800W in my trunk and it pounds like an elephant is stomping on the car. Some people were saying that it is a waste of time because the sound deaddenning they use all over the car will nullify it. I recall a while back someone was looking to install a sub in their car. I have searched countless times, including the forum search function, for how to install an aftermarket subwoofer in a w203 wagon with Bose.
